About the role

The Third Grade Teacher will plan, organize, and implement an instructional program in a Catholic learning environment where every child is recognized as a unique child of God.

Responsibilities

• Observe and assess student progress
• Keep detailed records
• Observe student behavior and progress
• Communicate with parents

Requirements

• Practicing Roman Catholic
• Passionate about Elementary education
• Building a faith-filled foundation for young students
• Experience with children preferred
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work with students, parents, and school personnel

Qualifications

• Maine Certification (or eligibility) in Elementary Education (020)
• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary or Early Childhood Education or equivalent

Skills

• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and families
