Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain propulsion machinery
- Monitor engine room operations
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Train and mentor junior engineers
- Assist in emergency response procedures
Requirements
- STCW III/1- Officer in Charge of an Engineering Watch (750kW / 1,000HP or More)
- STCW III/4- Rating Forming Part of an Engineering Watch
- STCW III/5- Able Seafarer Engine
- STCW V1-1- Advanced Oil Tanker Cargo Operation
- STCW V1-1- Advanced Chemical Tanker Cargo Operation
- STCW VI/1- Basic Safety Training
- STCW VI/2- Survival craft, Rescue Boats
- STCW VI/3- Advance Fire Fighting
- STCW VI/4 – Medical First Aid Provider
- STCW VI/6-Vessel Personnel Designated with Security Duties/ Security Awareness
- NATIONAL Third Assistant Engineer (Of Motor Propelled Vessels)
- Qualified Member of the Engine Department
- Lifeboatman
- Tankerman Assistant
- Limited to Dangerous Liquid Cargoes or Tankerman PIC - Limited to DL Cargoes
- Steward's Department (F.H)
Qualifications
- English language proficiency
