Who We're Looking For
The ideal candidate brings experience leading technical teams in a semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environment, demonstrates strong operational discipline and quality flow accountability, and is comfortable working with chemicals used in routine maintenance activities. This role is well suited for a hands-on leader who can balance day-to-day execution with team development in a high-tech manufacturing setting.
About the role
This role requires a strong and consistent fab floor presence and provides leadership coverage across all semiconductor processes. The position integrates people leadership, equipment maintenance, and process operations under a single supervisory role. This position will work a 12-hour day shift with a "3on-4off-4on-3off" alternating schedule.
Responsibilities
- Actively enforce safety standards, departmental KPIs, and 5S compliance through routine floor walks and real-time engagement
- Ensure production equipment is maintained to company standards by actively overseeing maintenance execution and minimizing unplanned downtime
- Own and drive hands-on training for equipment operation, preventive maintenance, and process qualifications
- Establish, document, and sustain PM procedures and OCAPs, ensuring consistent execution on shift
- Drive cross-training between process and equipment technicians and directly manage spare parts availability on the floor
- Own shift-level hold lot management — triage active holds with process technicians and on-shift engineering, drive timely disposition decisions, and ensure CM entries accurately capture lot status and initial process assessment to minimize cycle time impact
- Partner closely with process and equipment engineering to address SPC trends, reduce scrap and rework, and drive cost reductions
- Build strong working relationships across departments to enable rapid issue resolution and continuous improvement on the fab floor
