Etch Process Technician - Nights

About the role
In your role as an Etch Process Technician, you'll work alongside a talented group of technicians and engineers in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment producing some of the most advanced semiconductor devices on the planet.
Responsibilities
- Work in the fab with other Equipment/Process Technicians and Engineers to support troubleshooting and maintenance activities with a mindset towards root cause analysis, standardization, and 5S.
- Understand and sustain the factory by performing tool qualifications, lot dispositions, and interlock troubleshooting activities.
- Perform assigned trend monitoring activities regularly and work with Layer Owners to implement corrective actions.
- Draft regular SOP revisions to ensure quality and safety expectations are continuously improved upon.
- Perform activities involved with the recovery of Etch equipment from PM or down events including wafer recoveries and tool qualifications.
- Document and communicate events from tool interruptions to Process engineers to ensure material is measured and material disposition is completed correctly.
Requirements
- Two-year technical degree, equivalent military experience, and/or 5+ years direct applicable Etch semiconductor experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- 300mm Dry Etch experience highly desired.
- Familiarity with Lam, AMAT, TEL, Mattson, and/or PSK platforms preferred, along with familiarity with SPC methods and implementation.
- Detail and task-oriented with a high value on customer service, teamwork, and flexibility.
Schedule
- B Shift – Sunday through Tuesday (6:45pm – 7:15am) with alternating Saturdays.
- D Shift – Wednesday through Friday (6:45pm – 7:15am) with alternating Saturdays.
Pay
The current base salary range for this role is between $18.60/hour - $60.40/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications, and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors including organizational and individual performance.
