About the role

We are looking for a Thermostat Installer to join our team as a local on-site program representative. You will visit primarily residential locations (with potential for small business and commercial visits) to install thermostats for a direct response program. This role focuses specifically on thermostat installation and does not include other technical or auditing activities.

You will start and end your workday from home, using your personal vehicle to travel to appointments with mileage reimbursement. A dispatch team manages scheduling and assigns daily locations, so no office time is required outside of training.

Responsibilities

• Install thermostats in residential homes, with the potential for small business and commercial locations, following program specifications.
• Use your own personal vehicle to travel to appointments throughout the San Antonio area, with mileage reimbursement provided.
• Record inspection results and customer interactions to adhere to program requirements; provide input and status updates to program staff.
• Act as a local, on-site program and company representative to customers, providing a professional and positive experience in their home or place of business.
• Maintain flexibility to work occasional Saturdays as needed.
• Pass a required safety assessment, as this is a safety-sensitive position given the driving and in-home components of the role.

Requirements

• 0-1 year of relevant industry experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
• Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license required.
• If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship or support.
• Successful hires must pass pre-employment checks.

Pay

$20.00 per hour (compensation range: $18.80 - $28.30 USD).
