Duties and Responsibilities
- Log attendance and job-related labor hours in the time clock system.
- Read and interpret shop routers, work instructions, customer prints, and drawings.
- Use precision tools (calipers, micrometers, depth gauges) accurately.
- Operate pallet jacks, hoists, overhead cranes, and forklifts to move/stage parts.
- Load/unload parts for cleaning, inspection, and coating processes.
- Operate and maintain spray systems: combustion powder, combustion wire, and twin-wire arc equipment.
- Inspect parts to verify specifications before advancing in the workflow.
- Begin familiarization with TSC material composition and appropriate usage.
- Train on plasma and HVOF systems, including maintenance tasks.
- Promote a collaborative and safety-first work environment; assist and mentor peers.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow instructions consistently.
- Keep tools and work area clean and organized.
- Acquire necessary personal tools per company guidelines.
- Adhere to all company policies and work instructions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

- Ability to interpret policies, instructions, safety protocols, and technical manuals.
- Strong problem-solving and task prioritization skills.
- Ability to wear and work in personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators, hearing protection, and other required gear.
- Willingness to report safety or quality issues to management.
- Effective communication and team-oriented attitude.
Education and Experience
- A high school diploma or GED.
- 6–12 months of related experience or equivalent combination of education and training.
- Strong mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
Working Conditions
- Regular exposure to mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, toxic/caustic chemicals, and risk of radiation.
- Occasional exposure to wet or humid conditions, extreme temperatures, high places, electrical shock, and vibration.
- Loud noise environment: PPE is required and provided.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to stand, handle objects, reach, talk, and hear.
- Frequent walking, climbing, bending, stooping, crawling, and smelling.
- Must lift and/or move up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally (with assistance).
- Visual acuity requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
