Therapy Tech

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with parents and patients
• Provide safe, effective warm-ups under the direction of therapists
• Educate clients and families with demonstration, verbalization, and visual aids
• Transition patients from waiting room to treatment areas
• Maintain equipment as needed
• Basic office, cleaning and laundry tasks

Qualifications And Skills

• Previous experience with personal training, athletic training, special needs or therapy is a plus
• MUST be friendly, compassionate, energetic, organized, self-driven, independent learner and team oriented
• Experience working with children is a plus
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, written and organizational skills
• Good communications skills both verbal and written

Job Demands

• Moderate physical demands may include, but not be limited to assistance with set up and break down of equipment, the ability to transition on/off of floor to interact with children, demonstration of basic exercises, and spotting children while performing activities in the gym.

Pay

$15.00 per hour
