Therapy Tech

Duties/Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to patients in the completion of intake forms.
• Enters patient information into computer software.
• Cleans and prepares the clinic treatment area and equipment.
• Affords assistance to therapists in various patient care activities such as dressing changes and suture removal after surgery, setting up patients on various modalities, guiding patients through exercise program implemented by the treating therapist.
• Affords assistance in monitoring the inventory of various clinic supplies.
• Maintains a safe and clean environment throughout the therapy gym.
• Follows the policies, procedures, and protocols of the clinic.
• Fulfills HIPPA and patient confidentiality practices.

• Organized & able to multitask to facilitate efficient workflow.
• Knowledgeable of medical terminology & general medical practice operations preferred.

Education and Experience

• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a rehab, fitness, or healthcare setting is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk/stand for majority of work day.
• Squatting, bending, reaching.
• Lifting up to 15 lbs.

Pay

This is a full-time, non-exempt position.

Schedule

The schedule consists of daytime shifts Monday-Friday.
