Therapy Scheduler Floater

About the role

The Orthopaedic Center is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Scheduler Floater based out of their Huntsville office. This position averages 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and assisting with check-in and check-out duties of all patients presenting for appointments
• Scheduling patients in person and via telephone
• Verifying insurance eligibility
• Collecting payments
• Performing any other task assigned

Requirements

• Education: HS/GED
• Experience: Customer Service Representative experience preferred

Qualifications

• Ability to work under pressure, multitask and meet deadlines
• Outstanding organizational, time management and writing skills
• Ability to speak clearly and concisely
• Knowledge of data entry and Excel
• Independent, self-starting and highly motivated
• Proven positive, "teamwork" attitude in work history

Skills

• Effective communication with patients, TOC physicians and staff
