About the Role

Plans, prepares, and implements individually designed physical treatment programs to maintain, improve, or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain, or prevent physical dysfunction in patients.

Responsibilities

  • Completes and documents patient evaluations and tests per established standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develops and updates the patient's Plan of Care (POC) based on data, identified problems, and diagnosis from the exam.
  • Assesses and provides/progresses treatment for patients per plan of care per established standards.
  • Completes all documentation related to charge capture per established standards.
  • Coordinates patient care effectively and efficiently with other care providers and support team members.
  • Complies with other department and organization requirements and responsibilities.
  • Works flexible shift assignments, e.g., days of the week, hours.
  • Provides clinical supervision to assistants and/or aides.
  • Serves as a clinical instructor for assigned students.
  • Participates in quality improvement processes and interdisciplinary projects.
  • Inspects and uses equipment per manufacturers' guidelines, recording data and reporting malfunctions per policy.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited PT Program
  • PT licensure (will also consider approved license applicant or resident training program employee)
  • BLS (AHA)
  • 2 years of experience

Schedule

5 x 8 Days. Tuesday-Friday 10:00am-6:30pm, Saturday 8:00am-4:30pm
