Therapy Program Director

Responsibilities

• Sets up and implements therapy programs and protocols aligned with the facility's mission, goals, and standards of care.
• Supervises and mentors a team of therapists, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintains oversight of therapy program effectiveness, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and best practices.
• Manages resources such as staffing, equipment, and budget to support the delivery of therapy services.
• Organizes and facilitates training and professional development opportunities for therapy staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Analyzes program data and outcomes to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance program effectiveness and patient satisfaction.
• Delivers skilled rehab services within the scope of credentials and/or license, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a current, valid state licensure in respective discipline (Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy).
• Current valid CPR certification, preferred.
• Education: Degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in delivering skilled rehab services.
