Therapy Clinical Service Manager - Outpatient

About the role

The Therapy Clinical Service Manager oversees the daily operations, clinical care, and team management for therapy staff, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, productivity, and patient flow management
• Ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements
• Hiring, coaching, and performance management of staff
• Supporting staff development
• Accountability for key performance indicators including patient volume, documentation quality, and patient satisfaction
• Maintaining efficient clinic operations
• Collaborating with the Director of Rehabilitation and organizational leadership to support broader organizational goals and initiatives

Requirements

• Current South Carolina licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), or Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Bachelor’s degree in related field (or higher)
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience
• Demonstrated leadership ability across teams or settings
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in related field
• Prior multi-site management experience
• Experience in pediatric therapy services
• Experience in rural healthcare delivery models
• Experience with staff recruitment and retention strategies
• Proficiency with EMR systems (EPIC preferred)
