Therapy Aide

About the role

The Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation Temple, TX is seeking a therapy aide to join their inpatient facility. The position is per diem (as needed) and offers a pay rate of $20/hr.

Responsibilities

• Participate in clinical care under the direction of licensed therapists
• Care for patients with post-acute neurological injuries such as stroke, brain injury, and spinal cord injury
• Provide physical assistance with therapy intervention
• Maintain equipment within the department
• Assist with patient transportation
• Perform other administrative tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Related experience is preferred, but training will be provided to enthusiastic applicants
• One or more years of hospital experience as therapy aide preferred

Qualifications

• BLS Certification or completion within 90 days of hire
