JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Carry out routine operational functions including maintaining treatment and gym areas (cleaning, disinfecting, storing therapy equipment), and report any equipment malfunctions to staff.
• Provide patient assistance by escorting them to treatment areas and with any further patient set up as instructed by the therapist.
• Aid in positioning patients during therapy sessions, which may include guarding techniques for patient safety and providing support to treatment modalities.
• Offer administrative support to the Patient Service Representative team, managing patient wait-lists and scheduling needs within the EPIC electronic medical records system.
• Order supplies and equipment for clinics.

Education Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of therapy principles, practices, and techniques to provide appropriate care to patients.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Working knowledge of electronic medical records system (EPIC).
• Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
• Foster work and patient relationships through excellent interpersonal skills and behaviors.
• Prioritize work and meet changing demands.
• Work in a fast-paced environment.
• Work under stressful or emergency situations with high concentration and energy level.
• Effectively problem solve.
• Use computer, phone, and office equipment.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Licenses and Certifications

• CPR/BLS Certification from an approved program.
