Therapist, School Based- Children's Mental Health (Infant & Early Childhood)

About the role

Family & Children’s Services works to heal hurting and abused children, strengthen families, and provide hope and a path to recovery for those battling mental illness and addiction. Children’s mental health therapist will work with children between the ages 4-18 at a school site providing services.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based treatment to children and their families who may have significant behavioral and emotional issues and may be living in high stress environments.
• Collaborate monthly with teachers and conduct intakes, develop treatment plans and plan updates.
• Individual, family, and group therapy.
• May also be assigned to provide services to children and/or adults in the office-based program for family strengthening.

Requirements

• A master's degree in social work or its equivalent from an accredited school.
• Knowledge and experience in individual, group and family therapy.
• Knowledge and experience in conducting mental health assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Demonstrate a clinical family systems orientation and ability to work with diverse populations with multiplicity of problems.
• Licensed or under supervision for licensure as an LCSW, LPC or LMFT in the State of Oklahoma.
• Valid Driver License and satisfactory driving record.

Qualifications

Pay

• $82K+ annually for Licensed Therapists, plus a $8K first year bonus!
• $72K+ annually for Therapists under supervision, plus a $5K first year bonus!
