THERAPIST -Outpatient/Partial -PRN

About the Role

Peachford Hospital is a 246-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Dunwoody, providing care for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors in both inpatient and partial hospitalization programs. We are seeking an experienced, energetic Master's-prepared Therapist to work PRN in our Adult or Adolescent Outpatient Services Program. This role focuses on addiction and mental health issues, requiring strong crisis de-escalation skills, multitasking abilities, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychotherapy and psychoeducational groups and lectures.
• Determine patient’s treatment needs and conduct psychosocial assessments.
• Conduct new patient orientation and assign patients to appropriate groups.
• Maintain working relationships with physicians, hospital staff, and leaders, including managing staff providing care on weekends.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a related clinical area.
• Preferred certifications: LAPC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, or LMFT.
• At least 2 years of previous outpatient or inpatient experience.
• Working knowledge of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma-informed Care.

This is a PRN (as-needed) position within our Partial Hospitalization Program.
