Therapist - Juvenile Home

About the role

Provide brief/solution-focused therapy to youth in the juvenile justice system within the Juvenile Home, supporting youth during their stay and upon discharge.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and discharge planning to support youth reintegration into the community.
• Assist in connecting youth with necessary community services.
• Address crises through interventions, including suicide risk assessments and evaluations for hospitalization or crisis services.

Requirements

• Passion for working with justice-involved youth and a commitment to community impact.
• Strong crisis intervention skills and ability to handle high-pressure situations.
• Experience in assessment, discharge planning, and connecting clients to services.
• Flexibility to work daytime hours with occasional evenings or weekends.
