Therapist (CSW, PLPC or greater)

Vermilion Behavioral Health Systems is seeking a full-time Clinical Therapist with a minimum license requirement of CSW or PLPC. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is available.

Responsibilities

• Apply psychotherapeutic techniques and interventions to treat diagnosed emotional and behavioral disorders.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop initial discharge plans.
• Provide individual, group, or family therapy sessions as appropriate for the treatment plan.
• Develop and revise initial treatment plans based on assessments, coordinating additional services as needed.
• Maintain documentation of therapy services according to facility and professional standards.
• Manage an assigned caseload.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and collaborate with staff to facilitate patient services.
• Perform case management, discharge, or aftercare planning as needed.
• Demonstrate a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward patients.
• Address and resolve patient complaints, prioritizing patient safety.
• Perform other assigned functions and tasks.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Human Services field.
• One or more years of experience working with a comparable patient population.
• Requisite state or national licensure for professional therapy providers, or eligibility for state licensure.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification (training available upon hire).
• First aid certification may be required based on state or facility.
