Therapist-�Child and Adolescent Day Treatment�

About the role

Provides a full range of substance use and mental health disorder therapeutic services for children, adolescents, and their families. Primary duties include counseling children, adolescents, and their families, with much of this taking place at various school sites. Performs regular therapist functions during school vacations and summer months.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited program with a master’s degree in a human services or related field and two years of progressive substance abuse and/or mental health counseling experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Possession of North Carolina licensure as one of the following: Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist, Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Psychological Associate, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
