Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, group, family, and couples therapy under the supervision of a licensed therapist.
- Develop, implement, and maintain treatment plans in collaboration with clients, families and multidisciplinary teams.
- Utilize appropriate therapeutic approaches to address developmental, behavioral, and emotional needs.
- Maintain accurate, timely descriptions of sessions, clinical notes, and progress reports in compliance with agency and legal standards.
- Collaborate with case managers, educators, support coordinators, and other professionals involved in the client's care.
- Provide in clinical supervision, team meetings, and on-going training to enhance professional skills and ensure quality of care.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive therapeutic environment tailored to each client's developmental level and communication style.
Qualification
- Registered with the BBS as an AMFT, ACSW, LMFT, and LCSW in the State of California.
- Master's degree in Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or a related behavioral health field.
- Experience working with developmental disabilities and/or their families preferred.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices, such as CBT, DBT, or person-centered therapy.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting.
