About the role
We are looking for a skilled and empathetic Adolescent Therapist to join our team at Embark’s short-term residential facility in White Haven, Pennsylvania. Nestled along the Lehigh River near the Pocono Mountains, our serene 77-acre campus offers a tranquil, healing environment for female adolescents and their families. Therapists here provide multi-modal, family-system approaches to support lasting change.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of six clients to build strong rapport and drive effective treatment outcomes
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy
- Deliver parent coaching and case management
- Lead team coordination and crisis de-escalation
- Develop and adjust treatment plans
- Administer assessment tools and conduct utilization reviews
- Maintain documentation in the electronic medical record
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), Clinical Social Work (CSW), Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or a related behavioral-science discipline
- Fully licensed in Pennsylvania or actively working toward licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LSW, or equivalent)
- NPI number and CAQH profile
- Commitment to a collaborative, team-based approach to client growth
- Experience in individual, family, and group therapy
- Preferred: two years as a licensed therapist leading therapy sessions
- Preferred: one year in a residential setting using relational, experiential, and systemic modalities
- Ability to plan, implement, and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Must pass a state background check

Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Some weekends for intakes and occasional evenings to accommodate family schedules
