About the role
Seeking a full-time Therapist In Training to join a community-based outpatient mental health team. Under supervision, you will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, provide individual psychotherapy, deliver psychoeducation, and ensure accurate clinical documentation. Primary focus is on individual therapy, with occasional group opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans
- Provide individual psychotherapy and deliver psychoeducation
- Ensure accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborate with treatment teams and engage community partners
- Participate in supervision and utilize trauma-informed and evidence-based practices
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a behavioral health field
- Practicum experience
- Eligibility for Wisconsin “In Training” licensure (e.g., APSW, LPC-IT, MFT-IT)
Preferred qualifications
- Active licensure
- Experience with justice-involved populations
- Knowledge of trauma care
Schedule
