Full Time – Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 11:00 AM–7:30 PM (IOP/PHP Program)
About the Role
Assess, diagnose, and provide clinical services for adolescents with behavioral health disorders. Apply psychotherapeutic techniques and interventions to treat diagnosed emotional and behavioral disorders in individual, group, or family settings, either inpatient or outpatient.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop initial discharge plans.
- Provide individual, group, or family therapy sessions as outlined in the patient’s treatment plan.
- Develop and revise initial treatment plans based on assessments, coordinating additional services as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy services according to facility and professional standards.
- Manage an assigned caseload and participate in treatment team meetings to facilitate patient services.
- Perform case management, discharge planning, or aftercare planning as required.
- Demonstrate a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward patients and staff.
- Address and resolve patient complaints to ensure needs are met.
- Prioritize patient safety in all aspects of care.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Human Services field.
- One or more years of experience working with a comparable patient population.
Licenses & Certifications
- Active or eligible state/national licensure as a professional therapy provider.
- CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification (training provided upon hire).
- First aid certification may be required based on state or facility regulations.
