About the role

The Therapeutic Sales Specialist plays a critical role in BridgeBio's success. They are responsible for meeting and exceeding sales goals in an assigned territory, developing and executing an integrated territory business plan, and demonstrating subject matter expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed sales goals in an assigned territory by developing, implementing, and executing an integrated territory business plan encompassing key customer targets
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise concerning scientific and clinical information for Acoramidis
  • Take a customer-centric approach and engage customers in clinically relevant discussions utilizing approved materials
  • Effectively analyze sales data to identify opportunities for business growth or areas of concern in their territory
  • Be responsible for territory business planning and execution of key company initiatives
  • Adhere to company guidelines and demonstrate honesty, integrity, trust, respect, and accountability
  • Compliantly partner with Medical Science Liaisons, Field Reimbursement, Patient Access, HUB and other key cross-functional team members to develop strategies to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Develop and implement a dynamic territory business plan by analyzing the business, competitive landscape, and territory market to drive business
  • Develop, nurture, and maintain professional relationships with targeted KOLs including physicians, medical staff, and key hospital personnel and multi-disciplinary center staff
  • Navigate the hospital formulary process and develop and implement strategies to ensure successful product positioning and availability
  • Anticipate potential business challenges, adjust priorities as needed, demonstrate flexibility, and develop solutions to address challenges
  • Maintain an exceptional level of proficiency in selling skills, clinical, market, and product knowledge and the business environment of the territory
  • Collaborate with peers and company personnel to ensure corporate objectives and initiatives are achieved
  • Effectively plan and organize schedule to ensure maximum efficiency and use of time to accomplish goals and objectives
  • Act as an ambassador on behalf of the company. Present a professional image and represent the company, products, and people with integrity and respect
  • Complete tasks and projects assigned by Sales Leadership
  • Ensure that all activities are following applicable regulations, compliance, and Pharma guidelines

Where You'll Work

This is a field-based position based covering Chicago Northwest.

Who You Are

  • 8+ years of successful experience in the pharmaceutical industry and 5+ years in Rare Disease/Cardiology/Specialty/ATTR
  • BS/BA Required, MBA Preferred but not required
  • Product/indication launch experience: Track record of successfully launching new products and/or new indications into highly competitive markets
  • Strong leadership, planning and organization, analytics, business acumen, decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and execute on plan
  • Proven leadership skills with a history of holding oneself to a high level of accountability
  • Ability to influence without authority, internally as well as externally
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent skills in using remote technology to engage with customers
  • Adherence to BridgeBio’s high ethical standards
  • Significant travel is required

Pay

$155,000 - $210,000 USD

Schedule

Field-based position based covering Chicago Northwest.
