Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the radiation oncologist
- Maintain patient safety and monitor patients' conditions before, during, and after treatments, documenting any changes or concerns
- Operate radiation therapy equipment safely and effectively, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess and improve patient care plans
- Provide education to patients and families about treatment procedures, side effects, and post-treatment care
Requirements
- Master's degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- A valid and active certification as a Radiation Therapist
- An active state license to practice as a Radiation Therapist
- A strong understanding of radiation safety procedures and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care
- The ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
- U.S. Citizenship required

Schedule
This position offers a standard Monday to Friday schedule with no weekend or on-call duties.
