Therapeutic Radiation Therapist

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the radiation oncologist
• Maintain patient safety and monitor patients' conditions before, during, and after treatments, documenting any changes or concerns
• Operate radiation therapy equipment safely and effectively, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess and improve patient care plans
• Provide education to patients and families about treatment procedures, side effects, and post-treatment care

Requirements

• Master's degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• A valid and active certification as a Radiation Therapist
• An active state license to practice as a Radiation Therapist
• A strong understanding of radiation safety procedures and techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care
• The ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
• U.S. Citizenship required

Schedule

This position offers a standard Monday to Friday schedule with no weekend or on-call duties.
