What You’ll Do
- Participate in the development of treatment plans
- Charting, documentation, records, and reporting
- Organizing and conducting patient group activities
- Transporting patients to off-site appointments
- Participating in appropriate interventions
Pay and Benefits
This is an hourly position covered by the OCSEA/AFSCME bargaining unit (union), with a pay range of 7 on the OCSEA Pay Range Schedule. Normal working hours are Variable Days, Variable Shifts(s).
The position is located within our Northcoast Behavioral Healthcare, 1756 Sagamore Road, Northfield, Ohio.
Unless required by any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, the selected candidate will begin at Step 1 of the pay range schedule listed above, with an opportunity for pay increase after six months of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.
Additional Salary / Appointment Information:
- A long-term supplement after 5 years of service
- Longevity supplement after 5 years of service
- This position receives a minimum of 17 weekends off per year per the OCSEA union contract
Qualifications
- Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & in reading, writing & speaking common English vocabulary
- In Department of Developmental Disabilities, must also possess a high school diploma or a certificate of high school equivalence pursuant to Ohio Administrative Code 5123:2-3-01(F) (1) (c)
- Valid driver’s license required for positions requiring operation of motor vehicles to transport consumers to recreational, educational &/or occupational activities
