Responsibilities

• Empower individuals to achieve their best life through structured and enriching activities.
• Develop and conduct individual and group sessions to enhance life skills and personal development.
• Plan and gather necessary materials to teach skills in specific areas.
• Encourage and assist individuals in achieving goals, fostering independence and competency.
• Support program management in designing functional strategies and adaptive equipment.
• Provide suggestions on techniques and materials to support cognitive abilities and identify barriers.
• Document progress professionally and efficiently, adhering to relevant policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the Trans-disciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans and ensure individual needs are met.
• Support staff in implementing treatment plans, engaging individuals, and managing daily care.

Requirements

• A high school diploma with 6 months of related experience required.
• A bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field preferred.
• Prior experience working with individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities or autism preferred.

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Ability to document and report progress professionally and efficiently.
• Experience in creating and implementing therapeutic activities.
• Knowledge of developmental disabilities and autism.

Pay

The current hiring range for this position is $22.64 - $23.10 per hour, plus additional incentives.
