Theatre Accompanist (Temp)

Temporary, non-exempt position with an anticipated pay range of $30.00–$33.00 per hour, part-time (0–19 hours weekly).

About the Role

Plays live music as accompanist for the Department of Theatre’s Musical Theatre class.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate to complex musical pieces using appropriate instruments and equipment.
• Understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
• Interact effectively with students and faculty.
• Work independently, evaluate data, assess alternatives, and formulate logical and sound decisions.

Requirements

• Knowledge of music and dance theory and techniques.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as a team member and use tact and diplomacy.

Pay

$30.00–$33.00 per hour.
