Temporary Piano Accompanist - Theatre and Dance
Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as piano accompanist in the areas of Class Voice for Musical Theatre and Musical Theatre Performance as assigned
- Serve as piano accompanist for dance classes as assigned
- Provide piano accompaniment for mainstage musical rehearsals, as well as assigned conservatory showcases, auditions, BFA reviews, and special presentations
- Play in pit orchestras as assigned, with the possibility of conducting mainstage musical performances
Required Qualifications
- 3 years' experience as a professional pianist/accompanist
- Advanced skills in piano sight reading with ability to play Broadway repertory
- Ability to play in pit orchestras
- Willingness to work irregular and flexible hours, including nights and weekends
