Here’s the reformatted job posting for the **Content & Community Manager** role at *The Shawn Ryan Show* (inferred from the provided context):

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Content & Community Manager to join our team at The Shawn Ryan Show. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves storytelling, and is passionate about building engaged communities around real, impactful content.

About the role

You’ll be the backbone of our content operations—ensuring episodes, show notes, sponsor integrations, and guest materials are polished, accurate, and published on time. You’ll also engage with our audience across platforms, fostering a loyal community around the show’s mission: telling REAL stories about REAL people.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end production of podcast episodes, including:
    • Editing and formatting show notes, guest bios, and links for accuracy and consistency.
    • Coordinating with sponsors to integrate promotions seamlessly into episodes and show notes.
    • Ensuring all content (website, social media, newsletters) aligns with the show’s brand voice.
  • Oversee the publication calendar, tracking episode releases, guest appearances, and promotional timelines.
  • Engage with listeners on social media, responding to comments, messages, and fostering community discussions.
  • Monitor performance metrics (downloads, engagement, etc.) and provide insights to optimize content strategy.
  • Maintain relationships with guests, sponsors, and partners, ensuring smooth communication and follow-ups.
  • Assist with special projects, such as live events, merchandise, or new content initiatives (e.g., Glacier app promotions).

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in content management, podcast production, or community engagement (media, publishing, or digital marketing preferred).
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills—you can turn raw interviews into compelling, error-free content.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
  • Familiarity with podcast platforms (e.g., Apple Podcasts, Spotify), CMS tools (e.g., WordPress), and social media management.
  • Passion for storytelling, current events, and building communities around meaningful content.
  • Self-starter mentality—you’re proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working independently.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with audio/video editing (e.g., Adobe Audition, Descript) or graphic design (Canva, Photoshop).
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices for podcasts and digital content.
  • Interest in privacy tech, national security, or veteran/first-responder communities (a plus, but not required).

This is a remote-friendly role with flexible hours, but availability during key production windows (e.g., episode release days) is essential.
