About the role

We are seeking a skilled Door Technician to join our team. This position involves servicing, repairing, and installing a variety of commercial and historic doors, including automatic, entrance, swinging, and historic doors.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site service, repair, and installation of commercial and historic doors
• Maintain and troubleshoot automatic door systems
• Work with entrance and swinging doors, ensuring proper functionality
• Restore and preserve historic doors while maintaining their original character
• Provide estimates for repair and installation projects
• Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery

Requirements

• Proven experience in door service, repair, or installation
• Knowledge of automatic door systems and mechanisms
• Ability to work with historic doors and preserve their integrity
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environments
