The Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center - Cardiac Cath Lab $80 per hr (Intrastaff)

Responsibilities

Facilitating and coordinating of programs that may include hospital inpatients, outpatients, families, community, and employees of both the hospital and the university by providing evidence-based care based on the nursing process, policies, procedures, and protocols of the Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Providing direction to/management of other team members to promote quality, safety, and excellence in care.

Working collaboratively with, and providing leadership for, a multidisciplinary health care team to support program initiatives that support quality, safety, and excellence in care.

Participating in promoting and identifying quality improvement initiatives (clinical, financial, operational) that supports, protects and promotes area of specialty.

Initiating and participate in the research activities relevant to specialty area.

Implementing initiatives in area of specialty as directed by nursing and medical leadership.

Fostering a clinical environment of service excellence.

Requirements

• Critical Care (ICU) Experience
• Cath and/or EP Lab Experience
• EPIC
• Moderate sedation experience
• BLS and ACLS
• Minimum (2) years RN Cardiac/Surgical ICU experience

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse License in Maryland

Skills

• Cardiovascular Interventional Lab (CVIL) Cath and/or EP labs experience

Benefits

• Rotating day off
• No Block scheduling
• On-call every 4th weekend
• Required 30-minute response time for on-call

Pay

• $80 per hour

Schedule

• M-F
• Four 10-hour shifts
• 40 hours a week - alternating/staggered ten-hour shifts (7-530p & 8-630p)
• One weekend in a month and 1-2 days on weekday
