Local Contract Cardiac Cath Lab RN - $57-67 per hour

About the role

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a busy Cath Lab Unit. On average this lab runs 22-25 cases a day. There are 4 rooms.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
• Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Document all patient interactions and procedures accurately.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Experience in a cardiac cath lab setting preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Passing scores on relevant certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS).
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Proficient in operating cardiac cath lab equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Effective time management and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
