Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Cath Lab - $2,217 per week
Job Description
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Spartanburg, South Carolina. As a member of their team, you'll provide specialized care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional treatments. This role requires advanced cardiac care skills, strong communication, and the ability to adapt quickly while maintaining strict safety and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- One year’s recent experience as a Cath Lab RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) Certification
- Current ACLS Certification
- PALS or ENPC Certifications
- RCIS certification
Essential Work Functions
- Conduct assessment of patients prior to procedures
- Absorb and perform physical exams
- Assist in positioning patients correctly for the procedure
- Absorb and perform the placement of catheters, wires, balloons, stents, structural heart devices, and other cardiac interventions
- Operate and monitor hemodynamic equipment
- Recognize and respond to changes in cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic waveforms
- Absorb and perform arterial and/or venous sheath removal using closure devices, manual pressure, or mechanical compression
- Transport patients to the appropriate recovery area
- Maintain and troubleshoot cath lab equipment
- Communicate effectively with team members, patients, families, and physicians
- Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- One year’s recent experience as a Cath Lab RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) Certification
