The Innovation Factory, operating from its Adelaide Coworking Space at 60 Halifax Street, Adelaide 5000, SA, AU, is seeking community managers to help grow the business globally. The factory provides investment and funding opportunities for South Australian startups aiming to operate internationally. It also offers business advisory services to local and global funding opportunities for Adelaide-based start-ups.
About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the factory's online presence, engaging with the community, and fostering relationships with startups and investors. They will also assist in organizing events and promoting the factory's services.
Responsibilities
- Manage social media platforms and website to engage with the community and promote the factory's services
- Organize and facilitate networking events and workshops
- Collaborate with startups and investors to provide support and guidance
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase visibility and attract new members
- Represent the factory at industry conferences and events
Requirements
- Experience in digital marketing and social media management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Knowledge of startup ecosystems and funding opportunities in South Australia
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer)
- Event planning and coordination skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with startups and investors
