About The Venue

Southern Pacific Brewing Company, located in the heart of San Francisco’s vibrant Mission District, offers a striking industrial-chic setting for private events. Housed in a restored 10,000 sq ft former machine shop, the space is flooded with natural light through warehouse-style windows, high ceilings, concrete floors, and full-grown indoor trees, blending rustic charm with modern flair. The brewery is named after the historic railroad that once ran through the area, giving the venue a unique backdrop that speaks to San Francisco’s industrial past.

For private gatherings, Southern Pacific Brewing offers two standout spaces:

• The Mezzanine overlooks the main bar, accommodating up to 48 seated guests or 70 for receptions. It includes a private bar, two 60″ TVs for presentations or slideshows, its own dedicated staff, and a private restroom.
• The Alley, a semi-private area adjacent to the main dining floor, is perfect for more casual events with seating for around 48 or up to 150–200 reception-style guests. The space features large communal tables, a private restroom, and benefits from natural light, making it ideal for both social mixers and casual corporate events.

Both spaces offer in-house catering and a full bar pouring a rotating selection of crisp lagers, hop-forward IPAs, and crafted seasonal brews, alongside elevated pub fare like tacos, burgers, wings, and sage fries. The vibe is energetic, with events like live music, DJs, and themed happy hours periodically enlivening the space. Full buyouts of the venue are also available upon request.

Location & Parking

The venue’s location places it steps from Treat Avenue’s mural-filled blocks and near landmarks like Balmy Alley, Dolores Park, and the vibrant Valencia corridor.

• Public Transit: BART users can take the 24 or 33 bus lines from 24th Street Mission station directly toward Treat Avenue. Muni’s 14 Mission and 49 Van Ness lines also stop within a few blocks.
• Parking: Limited free street parking is available on Treat Avenue. For a more reliable option, guests can use several nearby paid lots or garages within a 5 to 10 minute walk.
