About the role

Education Unlimited is seeking qualified and energetic program administrators to serve as Site Directors for its UCLA summer camp running from June 28 to August 1. Site Directors plan and manage day‑to‑day operations, ensure Education Unlimited’s policies, curriculum, schedule, and mission are implemented, oversee program staff and instructors, and begin planning in early spring while living on‑campus (lodging, meals, and parking provided) during the program. The Site Director is described as our most rewarding and challenging camp position, and a positive, organized, and effective director helps create memorable, enriching experiences for students.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage day‑to‑day camp operations
• Ensure Education Unlimited’s policies, curriculum, schedule, and mission are implemented
• Manage program staff and instructors
• Attend director training meetings before camp
• Regularly communicate with Education Unlimited headquarters
• Meet with campus conference staff prior to camp start
• Prepare and finalize camp schedules and activities
• Address students’ needs and ensure student safety during camp
• Handle campus relations (facilities, dining, classrooms, etc.)
• Manage communication with parents
• Meet teachers’ needs for classroom materials and activities
• Follow and maintain the camp budget
