THAAD Maintenance Supervisor (CLS Team Lead)
Responsibilities
- Captures all contract activities with supported U.S. Army THAAD Battery.
- Manages maintenance and quality control activities.
- Provides technical guidance and training to team personnel.
- Supervises personnel performing duties such as Automation Technician, Multi-Purpose Mechanic/Maintainer, Supply Technician.
- Supplements administrative, medical, and certification status management for team members.
- Mentors the technical needs of supported Warfighters.
- Supports other team member duties as needed.
- Supports extended hours and an extended work week as required for system readiness, training events, and test events.
- Supports scheduled and expeditionary deployments and rotations with a minimum of 120 hours’ notice.
- Supports 24/7 operations as required by the unit’s mission.
- May require transportation via Military Air, Military Charter, CONUS Replacement Center, or Commercial means.
- May work in limited living conditions during deployments.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Active Secret Clearance.
- At least 8 years of relevant logistics and sustainment maintenance experience.
- Compliance with Army Regulations for Deployability to all Areas of Responsibility.
- Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
- Valid Passport.
- A+ and Security + Certifications within 120 days of start.
- Willingness to travel or deploy as called to any location with little to no prior notice.
- Previous Contact Logistics Support, Integrated Logistics Support, or Field Service Representative experience.
- Familiarity with performing administrator functions (IP configuration, diagnostic troubleshooting, harvesting log files, SW installation, IAVA updates and monitoring) using Linux, Unix, Redhat, Windows Operating Systems.
- Familiarity with sustaining and maintaining functional/multi-user information processing systems, peripheral equipment, and auxiliary devices associated with the THAAD Weapon System.
- Ability to lead a small team.
- Ability to strategically coordinate activities and communicate across multiple tiers of leadership.
- Experience prioritizing multiple mission goals and factors simultaneously.
- Experience leading small technical teams.
- Experience performing integrated operations with U.S. DoD Warfighters.
- Previous deployment experience, primarily as CAAF.
- Previous experience with THAAD or similar air defense system.
- Experience driving forklift.
- Experience utilizing commercial automated Information Systems (AIS) to record maintenance and logistics activities.
- Mastery performing administrator functions (IP configuration, diagnostic troubleshooting, harvesting log files, SW installation, IAVA updates and monitoring) using Linux, Unix, Redhat, Windows Operating Systems.
- Mastery sustaining and maintaining functional/multi-user information processing systems, peripheral equipment, and auxiliary devices associated with the THAAD Weapon System.
- Detail oriented.
- Excellent speaking and writing skills.
