TF-CBT Clinical Intern (Master's Level)

About the role

We are seeking Master’s-level practicum students who have completed relevant coursework and training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans using the TF-CBT model
• Observe and participate in individual and family therapy sessions
• Support delivery of trauma-informed, evidence-based interventions
• Participate in clinical documentation and case preparation
• Collaborate with the treatment team to support holistic care
• Engage in regular supervision, feedback, and professional development
• Help maintain a safe, respectful, and therapeutic environment grounded in the Sanctuary Model® (safety, emotional intelligence, open communication, and social learning)
• May carry a small caseload in later semesters, if approved by your academic program

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a Master of Social Work (MSW) program.
Completion of relevant TF-CBT coursework and/or training required
Strong interest in trauma-informed care and working with youth and families
Commitment to ethical practice, cultural humility, and professional growth
Ability to maintain consistent, reliable attendance and adhere to scheduled hours
Alignment with Wedgwood’s Statement of Faith, vision, and values

Pay

$16.00/hour

Schedule

On-site internship
12-18 hours weekly based on academic requirements
