Job Functions/Duties
- Testing downhole equipment using Aquila testing software, Vibrometer, Hi-Pot, Megometer, Ohmmeter
- Confer with engineering personnel to resolve problems relating to specifications and to review test plans
- Examine parts for conformance with dimensional specifications, using precision measuring instruments
- Monitor controls, instruments, and record test data for engineer's use
- May recommend changes in test methods or equipment for engineering review
Qualifications/Education Requirements
- Good communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Understand pump, seal and motor test results
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ year of testing experience preferred
- Electrical experience preferred
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Continuously Required To Move About The Facility
- Continuous standing for long periods of time
- On call required
- Exposure to shop and field elements such as noise, dust, odors and temperature variations
- Physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations
- Work in a non-climate controlled environment
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye and hearing protection, hardhat and safety shoes while in shop environment or on job site
