Testing Technician (2:30PM-10:30PM) (IB3)

About the role

The Testing Technician will inspect and maintain engineering test equipment, tools, and server room assets, and coordinate testing processes with active participation (e.g., setting up new stations, prioritizing tasks, product testing). They will also be involved in the repair and fault analysis of failed test products.

Responsibilities

• Support the production line and provide the Engineering Department with relevant information as needed (report any issues to the direct supervisor and Engineering).
• Perform additional installation tasks.
• Record manual and electronic data.
• Collaborate with test engineers for production support.
• Monitor server operations.
• Notify Engineering promptly about the depletion of spare parts.
• Ensure the safe and undamaged use of tools and high-value components, and maintain their availability.

Requirements

• Minimum of high school education.
• Entry-level position with interest in an IT-related field.
• Proficiency in technical English.
• User-level knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft operating systems (including Windows 10, Windows Server 2012 R2, and Windows Server 2016).
• Knowledge of computer networks.
• Strong technical orientation and analytical thinking.
• Basic knowledge of IT fundamentals.
• Detailed oriented.
• Basic knowledge of Linux, VLAN, Switch, and Virtual Network is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with electronics hardware repair is a plus.
