Position Summary
The Testing Proctor ensures all assessments are administered with integrity, consistency, and attention to detail. This role is responsible for creating a calm, structured testing environment while supporting students in following all testing procedures and accommodations.
Key Responsibilities
Assessment Administration
- Administer state tests, unit exams, quizzes, and make-up assessments in alignment with school protocols
- Clearly communicate testing procedures and expectations to students
- Monitor testing environments to ensure compliance, focus, and academic integrity
- Document and report any testing irregularities
Preparation & Logistics
- Prepare all testing materials and technology in advance (e.g., devices, accommodations, platforms)
- Ensure assessments are properly set up in testing systems
- Cookout student attendance for testing sessions, including accommodations and make-ups
- Troubleshoot basic technology issues during testing
Systems & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records of testing sessions and student participation
- Follow all school and state testing policies and procedures with fidelity
- Communicate proactively with the Assessment Coordinator regarding needs or issues
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, not required
- High School Diploma required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow systems with precision
- Organized and able to manage multiple tasks and timelines
- Clear communicator who can give directions and maintain a calm environment
- Comfortable troubleshooting basic technology issues
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Committed to upholding testing integrity and supporting student success

Compensation
Annual Salary Ranges:
- $35,000 - $50,000 starting salary depending on degree level, certification, content, previous student outcomes, and experience
Additional Stipends Available:
- Employees may be eligible for stipends or supplemental compensation for approved responsibilities that extend beyond the regular duties of their position. Examples may include athletic coaching, club sponsorship, leadership, special projects, additional workdays, extended hours, or other assigned duties.
Raises and Bonuses:
- We believe exceptional performance should be recognized. Employees may be eligible for performance-based raises and bonuses. Eligibility and award amounts are determined based on demonstrated results, contributions to the organization, available funding, and other relevant factors.
