Testing Coordinator - Outpatient

About the role

Outpatient Testing Coordinator responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and ensuring timely outpatient testing procedures while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Schedule procedures such as MRI/CT and outpatient tests for patients.
• Obtain and record insurance certification numbers.
• Coordinate with patients to confirm completion of necessary history and tests.
• Communicate with testing representatives and document interactions.
• Handle incoming calls from physicians, patients, and hospitals courteously and promptly.
• Track and verify accuracy of scheduled tests and patient notes.
• Provide patients with test information and instructions, documenting all communications.
• Assist with additional tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Licensed LPN or RN certification from an accredited program.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a fast-paced medical environment.
• Excellent communication and basic computer skills.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Proficiency in speaking, hearing, reading, and writing English.
