About the role

Your Area Of Responsibility will be to contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided. Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions. Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability. Conduct code reviews, make changes to the codebase, and maintain code repositories. Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards. Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications. Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability. Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects.

Requirements

  • Information Technology experience with a focus on QA/Test skills
  • Experience of Java with Selenium framework
  • Hands-on experience in healthcare payer domain (Claims, Membership, Benefits, Provider, Payment)
  • Experience in QNXT with strong exposure to: Claims adjudication workflows and configuration impacts, Benefit/plan configuration and pricing outcomes, Provider contracting/fee schedules/payment rules
  • Experience in creating test strategy, test plan, scenarios, and test cases
  • Experience with manual and/or automated test execution approaches and test lifecycle (Agile) ownership
  • Understanding of end-to-end SDLC, test governance, and release readiness

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience in test execution & reporting, testing lifecycle processes and test tools like Rally, JIRA, IBM Rational suite etc.
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
  • Experience and desire to work in Agile and DevOps methodology
  • Client interfacing skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of one or more estimation methodologies, knowledge of quality processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution
  • Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
