TESTING ADMINISTRATOR (PART-TIME)

The Northwestern State University Leesville/Fort Polk Campus is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Testing Administrator to oversee and facilitate computer-based assessments, including Accuplacer, CLEP, and Pearson VUE exams. This role involves administering tests, ensuring compliance with testing protocols, managing test data, and coordinating with faculty and administrators.
Job Duties And Other Information
Test Administration - 80%
Complete all steps required to deliver, supervise and submit for scoring computer-based tests including Accuplacer, CLEP, Pearson VUE and others.
Develop and implement testing schedules and procedures for standardized assessments.
Coordinate test materials distribution, including secure storage and inventory management.
Monitor testing environments to maintain test integrity and address any irregularities.Data Management - 10%
Collect, compile, and analyze test data to generate comprehensive reports.
Interpret test results to identify student strengths and areas for improvement.
Disseminate test data to relevant stakeholders, including faculty and administrators.Compliance and Regulations - 5%
Stay updated on all state and federal testing regulations and requirements.
Ensure compliance with testing protocols and ethical standards.
Provide special testing accommodations for students with learning, physical or emotional disabilities.Communication and Collaboration - 5%
Collaborate with faculty and administrators to facilitate smooth testing processes.
Provide technical support and answer questions regarding testing procedures.
Communicate testing updates and information to relevant parties effectively.
Minimum Qualifications
One or more years of experience as a computer technician administering computer-based tests or clerical computer-based work.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
Strong decision-making skills and ability to use appropriate situational judgement.
Able to multi-task, handle small tools, and pack equipment for shipping or unpack for installation.
Familiar with Microsoft Windows-based computer programs and applications (including but not limited to MS Office, Outlook, Explorer-web browsing).
Ability to learn and apply operational and maintenance instructions and other job documents.
Understanding of special education needs and accommodations for testing.
