About the role
Operates, tests, and monitors assigned equipment to ensure the quality and functionality of products.
Schedule
1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday - Friday
Responsibilities
- Perform various tests, analyze results, and identify any defects or issues.
- Observe and conduct operation of equipment and document maintenance needs.
- Troubleshoot control panels, error lights, and messages to ensure proper equipment function.
- Consistently meet or surpass daily production and quality goals.
- Verify equipment data for reporting.
- Interpret, follow, and execute testing procedures accurately.
- Communicate with equipment technicians relating to more complex issues.
- Maintain satisfactory Quality performance levels.
- Data entry to CTDI systems via PC and RF handheld devices.
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation.
- Follow warehouse safety regulations.
- Perform all other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Hands-on capability to troubleshoot technical problems as necessary.
- Ability to gather, document, and input data.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic computer ability.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair), or forward logistics operation.
- Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Time-management skills.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
- Warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs., if necessary.
- Ability to stand and walk for an extended period of time, if necessary.
- Ability to bend, push, pull, twist, and reach in a continuous/repetitive capacity, if necessary.
