Responsibilities
- Performs various tests, analyzes results, and identifies any defects or issues.
- Observes and conducts operation of equipment and documents maintenance needs.
- Troubleshoots control panels, error lights, and messages to ensure proper equipment function.
- Consistently meets or surpasses daily production and quality goals.
- Verifies equipment data for reporting.
- Able to interpret, follow, and execute testing procedures accurately.
- May communicate with equipment technicians relating to more-complex issues.
- Maintains satisfactory Quality performance levels.
- Data entry to CTDI systems via PC and RF handheld devices.
- Maintains and cleans, organized workstation.
- Follows warehouse safety regulations.
- Responsible for following all other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.
Requirements
- Hands-on capability to troubleshoot technical problems as necessary.
- Ability to gather, document, and input data.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic computer ability.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Preferred Skills And Experience
- Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation.
- Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Time-management skills.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
- Warehouse environment.
- The ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs., if necessary.
- The ability to stand and walk for an extended period of time, if necessary.
- The ability to bend, push, pull, twist, and reach in a continuous/repetitive capacity, if necessary.
