Tester
This position is responsible for testing regulator transformers. Inspect and evaluate incoming transformers, record data, perform electrical testing, and document physical dimensions and damage. Ensure all paperwork and data are accurately recorded and saved to the database while adhering to safety guidelines, company policies, and environmental specifications. Safely utilize industrial equipment, complete assignments, report issues to supervisors, and support monthly operational goals.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and evaluate incoming transformers
- Record data from electrical testing and physical measurements
- Document any damage observed on transformers
- Ensure all paperwork and data are properly recorded and saved to the database
- Follow safety guidelines and company policies
- Adhere to environmental specifications for the work area
- Safely operate industrial equipment
- Complete assignments and report issues to supervisor
- Support monthly operational goals
- Assist team members with workload and escalate issues when necessary
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
- Technical College education is a plus
- Previous electronics experience (preferred)
- Proficiency with Windows operating system
- Cooperative attitude toward internal and external customers
- Ability to assist team members and know when to escalate issues
- Professional language, appearance, and conduct at all times
- Capacity to learn other areas to fill in as required
