Position Description: This position will use bill of material and print to test coils to comply with safety, quality and methods procedures. Setup and operate testing equipment used in leak detection of copper, brass and cupro-nickel construction.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment
• Setup equipment
• Identify and locate required tooling
• Inspect coils prior to test
• Assemble vent and drain plugs, if required
• Apply set pressure to coil and submerge under water and check for leaks
• Repair all leaks
• Record data

Requirements

• Must be a certified brazer.
• Must be flexible, problem solving oriented, acceptable to change and display initiative to learn and make improvements in the workplace.
