Tester (200 AMP) - 2nd Shift

About the role

You’ll assist the Quality team in implementing and maintaining a quality system, including conducting audits, establishing controls, and training on tools and methodologies. Each day, you will support activities related to quality management within the organizational unit, report quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and customer cases, and maintain process documentation.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow plant safety procedures, prevent hazardous conditions, wear appropriate protective equipment, maintain a clean and orderly work area, and participate in plant safety objectives.
• Test product to standards (work instructions, S.O.P’s, and revision control).
• Ensure quality operation of the process, perform quality checks and controls, including adherence to cleaning and maintenance.
• Maintain pre-determined efficiency, standards, and productivity rates.
• Prepare and maintain accurate production records and follow SOP’s.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Prior manufacturing or quality control experience.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform push/pull functions.
• Ability to work overtime and a weekend schedule as needed.

Skills

• Ability to communicate, read, write, and understand various written instructions in English.
• Ability to bend, twist, and turn safely.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Good hand dexterity and strong math skills.
